In 2006, Grate Products, LLC was founded to distribute quality basement & crawl space drainage & moisture control products to exclusive authorized contractors throughout North America. Grate Products establishes best practices and provides employee trainings for their certified contractors in customer service, business development and home improvement installation, effectively raising the bar in the home services industry. Founder and inventor, Steve Andras, pioneered the idea of closed drainage systems, protecting homes from damp, unhealthy and unconditioned air from infiltrating the family’s living space.

Steve continually strives to help homeowners make their basements, crawl spaces & homes healthy and energy efficient. He has served as President of the National Association of Waterproofing & Structural Repair Contractors (NAWSRC) in 2000-2001 and President of the Basement Health Association (BHA) in 2010-2011. Steve currently serves as the Education Committee Chairman of the Basement Health Association.
With his leadership, Steve is helping create a new and exciting industry, with the goal of improving the quality of life for millions of people through total basement health. Steve’s vision is to raise the bar for all the home service trades, starting in the basement environment and evolving throughout all home services, to the benefit of all consumers.
